Restart

Re-start. Reboot. Control, Alt, Delete.  The answer to every problem in the computer world is to re-start.  And when you do? Miraculously, when the computer comes back on after re-starting, everything works again.  That's all it takes.  A re-start wipes out your mistakes - like they never happened.
